Overview
The Efergy E2 energy monitor complete with Elink. This is the latest design from Efergy that is packed full of easy to use features. In field test user’s reduced consumption by up to 25%! The main difference between this electricity monitor and others on the market is the simple USB connect feature. This means that you can effortlessly track you energy consumption via the extensive elink software.
Elink software via USB Connection
You can visually check your consumption curve and make changes where necessary. The software/monitor allows you to view your electricity use in Kilowatts, Carbon Tonnes or Pounds. Other great features of the elink include history – view daily, weekly, monthly and annual data . Alternatively you can set yourself targets and follow them up. Elink is an energy consumption management program that will help you increase your understanding of energy consumption and offer a more sophisticated means to analyse electricity consumption. Multiply Tariff – Economy 7
The E2 also allows you to set multiple tariffs. You can set different prices per kWh for up to four time zones. Making the E2 ideal for use with Economy 7. Please note this feature is only suitable with ‘white meter’ supplies and not the older dual circuit supplies. Contact us if in doubt.
Installation
As with all wireless energy monitor’s featured on this site installing them is a breeze. No electrician is required. Simply connect the CT Clamp (Sensor) around your incoming live supply – which is normally the cable to the far right-hand side. The sensor will clip round cables up to 12mm. Larger Sensors are available. Then you pair the transmitter and display unit. After the two units are linked your can set your time, date and any tariff details such as Economy 7. Efergy provide one of the best energy saving tool kits and instructions of any of the manufacturers. Including a 24 page guide to the elink energy management software.
