Key Point Considerations
Price - We try to keep prices as low as possible. Included in the price is free Standard delivery 2-3 days. If you require your order urgently upgrade (£2.95) the service to Express. Monitors or energy saving kits over £50 are automatically upgraded to Express courier delivery.
Economy 7 compatible - If you use Economy 7 at home then choosing an energy monitor that has this feature is useful for calculating cost. Some customers choose other key points/ features over Economy 7. Such as PC connect or accuracy.
Connect to PC included - This option is very important for some people. Please note only two monitors come complete with everything you need included in the box. If choosing the Envi be sure to purchase the Envi with PC connectivity.
Connect to PC available - This means that with additional hardware at additional cost you can connect to your PC. Manufacturer's are continually developing new equipment to aid in this area. Contact us for help choosing the best option.
Display functions - Not all energy monitors have the full range of different readings. Some monitors opt for a basic graphical display over lots of different amounts such as Cost, KW used and CO2. All monitors have real time energy displayed.
Accuracy of reading - Obviously everyone would like an accurate representation. Your electric meter that feeds your house needs 100% accuracy. The purpose of the energy monitor is to measure, so that you can monitor and adjust your habits. Does it really matter if it not 100% accurate? As long you have a clear indication that you are reducing consumption.
Three phase compatible - Only effect’s a small proportion of domestic customers. If your have a large house or business then you may need to purchase additional CT clamps to read your supply. Most customers know if they have a three phase supply. You can check by speaking to your electricity supplier.
Stylish design - All of the wireless electricity monitors are portable and look great on any side board. Some monitors are available in different colours (Envi). If size really does matter contact us for details!
Made in UK - Very few things are made in the UK in this day and age. I'm proud to support UK manufacturing and the Monitors made on the South Coast by Eco-Eye. All our energy monitors have a minimum 1 year no quibble warranty.
Max amps - Again not for everyone to worry about. If you have a large supply you will also have a very large electric bill! Larger installations and three phase customers may need to double check with their electric supplier.
